PCS PROUD sends solidarity to Trans Kids deserve better who are once again taking direct action to fight for their rights.

In July, several young trans+ activists occupied the ledge of NHS HQ in London to challenge the ban on puberty blockers as well as the numerous restrictions trans kids experience to get the healthcare they need. Now they are occupying the front of the Department of Education building in London, to challenge the abhorrent guidance for schools that asks teachers to disclose a child’s gender identity to a parent.

These kids are doing great work, but they need as much support as possible! Please donate to their justgiving page to support their work.

We also ask any PCS members in London, especially those that work for the Department of Education, to go and show your support in person if you can! The trans+ kids are holding communal dinners every evening they are outside the building, so please head to their instagram to find out details and go and support. In addition, if anyone can provide them any resources like power banks, toilet roll, water or food, get in touch via their instagram and I’m sure it will be really appreciated.
