Trans Kids Deserve Better!

PCS Proud commends the actions taken by #TransKidsDeserveBetter. As minors of an already vulnerable demographic, they have been at the brunt of vicious reactionary policies against which they have been denied a voice. Denying them a voice means action has become an inevitability as they fight the entirely ideological denial of healthcare.

We want these intrepid souls to know they have the support of the wider LGBT+ community, of the trade unions, and of our cis allies.

An attack on one is an attack on all, and together we will resist and reverse the damage done by this moral panic.

As trade unions we must do our part and push forward for properly funded health services for trans and all workers. The denial of proper trans healthcare falls squarely in line with the right-wing austerity policies of successive governments, which we must resist politically and industrially.
