AGM Report 2025

Please note, this report was intended to be released in December as part of our Proud Digest. We have been informed that the Digest will not be published through PCS centrally.

The Proud National Committee would like to thank all members who participated in our elections and Annual General Meeting on 3 December 2025. We were delighted by the turnout and the discussion throughout, we hope members enjoyed it as much as we did.

We discussed four motions about how we best represent LGBT+ members, both within our union with a motion about a Holistic Review of our structures and how frequently the PNC meet. We recognised the importance of variance of bi* and trans* members identities, and also our wider community with a motion about Proud attendance at Pride events. The Proud National Committee looks forward to working with Proud members to implement these, and we look forward to seeing you on the streets over summer!

What’s Wrong With A85?

The National Executive Committee are proposing a motion (A85) to Annual Delegate Conference, without seeking Proud’s views. Whilst the NEC are perfectly entitled to propose motions for debate without seeking views of Proud, it is disappointing that it did not seek the views of its advisory body on LGBT+
