Emergency PCS Proud Members Meeting

Departments across the civil service are due to implement new policies relating to Trans+ staff on Thursday 15 October at 4pm. In many places these changes relate to restrictions on Trans+ staff using the toilets of their lived gender and reducing amount of special leave afforded to Trans+ staff for gender-affirming surgeries.

PCS Proud are fighting back against these changes and will campaign for the Government to change the law.

Join the PCS Proud National Committee this Friday 16th of October at 12pm to discuss the policy.

Date: 16 October 2026

Time: 12:00-1300

Support the National Campaign

PCS is urging members to support the national campaign and vote in the ballot which opens on 20 October. At the national executive committee (NEC) meeting on 8 and 9 September, the NEC agreed to launch a national trade dispute across the UK civil service and its related areas; and agreed a timetable for a national statutory ballot for industrial action.
