PCS Proud Members' Meeting: June
The next PCS Proud Members Meeting will take place on Tuesday 30 June 2026 via Zoom. The meetings are held on every last Tuesday of the month, and are an important opportunity for Proud members to meet with the PCS Proud National Committee.
From this month, we will begin to invite speakers from internal and external organisations to talk about issues PCS Proud members find important.
At this year’s Annual Delegate Conference, Motion A23 was carried. A23 secures affiliation by PCS to Decrim Now, an alliance of workers who sell sexual services, sex workers’ rights collectives, politicians, feminists, trade unions, human rights and student organisations who are dedicated to improving the lives and working conditions of sex workers in the UK.
In light of this, PCS Proud has invited speakers from PCS4DECRIM (a self-organised grassroots group of PCS reps) and the English Collective of Prostitutes to attend.
PCS4DECRIM is a grassroots group of PCS lay reps who are campaigning for PCS to adopt a policy of the full decriminalisation of sex work in the UK. Decriminalisation is a trade union issue.

The English Collective of Prostitutes (ECP) supports sex workers' right to recognition and safety, the decriminalisation of prostitution, and the provision of financial alternatives to prostitution, so that poverty forces no one into prostitution.
Date: 30 June 2026
