Upcoming Event: International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia 2026
Dear PCS Members,
IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, is an important one in the LGBT+ community’s calendar. It is about calling for an end to LGBT+ phobia in all its forms, be that in our workplaces, our society, or even in our own trade union.
It is crucial that we observe this day every year, so that we can share our experiences, build on our allyship and allow marginalised groups to thrive in a workplace and society that was built without them in mind.
Come along to our event.
All PCS members are welcome to attend our event which takes place on 14 May at Noon. Our Treasurer, Steve Griffiths, will be talking about why the date is important to us here at PCS Proud and will talk about practical steps allies can take to promote a better workplace and society for all.
Please make sure you save the event in your calendar and use this link to join the session on Zoom.
Yours in solidarity,
The PCS Proud National Committee
